The climate is changing at nobody's empathy. It is hitting they planet at every angle left to right without any favor. The young, the old, the whole biodiversity. It is like a cancer spreading like it was ever a pandemic. The question is however, DO THE YOUTH HAVE A ROLE IN THE MITIGATION AND ADAPTATION OF THIS WIELD BEAST? Lets see below;
THE MERITS OF THE YOUTH ING CLIMSATE ACTIVISM.
- The youth are in numbers. 500 million people in Africa alone are between 10 to 24 years old. We need this number in climate activities.
- The Youth already have the check to pay. These are the people that are probably going to live longer than any other age groups and therefore the ones to go through the most pains of climate change.
- The youth got the energy. These are the people who are fresh, young and energetic. We need this human resource in climate activism.
- The Youth are the agents of change. The are the people are carrying the seed of the future. Any change in this class of people is the change of the FUTURE!
