Technology can simply be defined as the use of scientific knowledge for practical purposes or applications whether in industry or in our day to day lives. Sustainable technology is the combination of two complementary ideas. The first is technology that is is meant to remedy, improve, or offset carbonization, environmental setbacks, or problems. The second is technology that is produced using green or ecologically responsible materials or processes. Sustainable technology involves the innovations that bring about economic and social development. The aim of these technologies is reduce environmental and ecological risks and to make products that are green and eco friendly. There are a lot of benefits of green technology 1. Reduced energy consumption 2. Reduced waste 3. Improved product design 4. Reduced expenses 5. Prevents deterioration of the environment. Disadvantages of sustainable technology 1. High implementing costs. 2. Lack of information 3. Pollution 4. Uncertainty about performance.
