Pollution and condition of citarum

The source of citarum an Indonesian wonder river winds its way down through the island of java for 300 km and flows into the sea easy of Jakarta  the river crosses countries capital

The condition of pollution is such that at some places we cannot even see the water. Its surface is completely covered by the unimaginable amount of waste, trash, and dead animals floating on it.

Indonesia is growing economically consumption is on the rise but waste development system is under development so the river serve as open rubbish dumb and fisher men are fishing bottle instead of fishes its nearby near and the river citarium suffers from chemical pollution

Waster water from the industries are one of the major cause of the river pollution

The rice field near by is also effected by the pollution of rivers which has cadmium and lead , mercury pollution doesn’t know the degree of danger people nearby exposed to

The river is heavily polluted by human activity; about five million people live in its basin. Textile factories in Bandung and Cimahi were major toxic waste contributors.
