by Sudura Zakir | 10-04-2022 18:31

Bangladesh is agro-based riverine country. But the status of soil is in unfavourable condition in some areas. Due to the use of huge amount of pesticides in the agriculture land the fertility of soil is decreasing. There are many reasons to consider soil health. Most of the rural lands are directly depended on agriculture. If soil health is not maintained then fertility of soil will damage production of crops, vegetables etc.

Toxic compounds, salts, radioactive materials, chemicals etc are polluting the soil. Heavy metals are found in some parts of Bangladesh if this case becomes serious then the food chain will be at risk.Chromium, cadmium and lead are found in few parts of Bangladesh. But after reviewing this issue it is mentioned that industries are the major reason behind it. It won't harm in the future because they are taking it under control.

On the other hand, the land of Bangladesh is very beautiful and full of natural beauties. About soil pollution there are very few causes and not all places are polluted. So the soil condition is kind of safe then other pollution.
