Let¡¯s stop water pollution

What is the water pollution?

Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies, which reduces their ability to provide the ecosystem services that it would otherwise provide.  Usually water pollution is a result of human activities, sewage and waste water, urbanization and deforestation, chemicals used in agriculture, toxic produced by industries, marine dumping. Radioactive waste plays a major role in water pollution too.

But the main cause for all of this is humans and their inventions. For example, plastic; When plastic was first invented no one would have thought that it could cause such big problems to the environment.

Marine dumping

The seas and oceans are the largest water bodies in the world.  Marine dumping means depositing everyday garbage to the internal water bodies; which ends up in the sea.  The biggest example is the great garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean.  This has caused both oceans and its marine life extreme danger.  Millions of fish, whales, turtles and other sea creatures eat tons of plastic each day.  Some of them die from getting caught in these.

Does water deserve this?

Tons of garbage is dumped in oceans everyday; soon humans won¡¯t have any fresh water left in this world.  We might have to invent artificial water.  WATER DOESN¡¯T DESERVE THIS!  So let¡¯s all get together to save our life¡¯s source.
