Water pollution can be coused by many reasons such as rapid urban developme- nt, improper sewage disposal, fertilizer run-off,oil spills, chemical waste dumping, radio-active waste discharge from the above listed cause oil spills and leaks from chemical contai-ners is the key cause blockage of pipeline,it affects various Marin species leading to their death mostly because of starving as plastic accumulates in their stomach. Due to this, there is an urgent need to explore new and existing legally binding agreements to address marine plastic pollution.water pollution not only affect Marine health,it also affect human health, food safety and quality, coastal tourism,and contribute to climate changer.

Hence some efforts must be done to reduce water pollution.

              Control of water pollution requires appropriate infrastructure and management plans as well as legislation technology solutions can include improving sanitation sewage treatments , industrial waste water treatment , agricultural waste water treatment , erosion control, sediment control of urban runoff. Effective control of urban runoff includes reducing speed and quantity of flow . for the domastic use, sewage treatment can be done with polluted water which includes primary , secondary, territory treatment. Use of this method millions of gallons of water is treated everyday accross the globe.pollution due to oil spills can also be treated by the use of microbes know as pseudomonads putida.to control the pollution caused by plastic strict government acts should be made.government should be provide more funding for research and innovation Nowadays,Reuse of plastic can be done in many ways such as eco-bricks which is used in furnituring . Rods can also be made by the use of plastic by mixing with bitumen , which is much more affordable than other techniques.
