The greenest pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020.

by Mukhammaddiyor Kurbonov | 28-02-2022 22:50

The pavilion includes extensive plant varieties, comprising more than 170 types of trees, shrubs and flowers. It also includes 517 solar panels, generating all the energy the pavilion needs. We can call it a self-sufficient, net-zero energy pavilion. Visiting this pavilion seems like we are exploring the forest in the heart of urban spot.

Through different shows, the pavilion represents its greenery secrets and future plans. For example, the objective of making every home within a 10-minute walk of park by 2030 encourages us to explore the city. By 2030, Singapore is going to make 80% of homes within a 10-minute walk of a train station, according to the banners in the Singapore pavilion.

With the right investment, research and resource, we can cooperate with the Singapore government to make other countries green. Learning about Singapore¡¯s climate and finding countries with similar climates can be a good first step. According to weather.gov.sg, Singapore has a typically tropical climate, with full of rainfall, high humidity all year around, making Singapore an ideal place for greenery.

Thanks for reading this article. Hope you find it useful. Please let me know in the comments section below which country has a similar climate to Singapore.

PS, I have made a short video about the pavilion. Here is the link: https://youtube.com/shorts/9AmA_QPbJg0?feature=share
