Being an agriculturist student , I always find joy to link with nature and the  environment around me. So to protect the environment around me  I give my full effort. Initiation  to protect our environment always starts from our individual effort rather than collective efforts and national effort. Activities that we do in our daily life affects  directly and indirectly to our environment . Certain changes in the activities  that we have made in our family that have been helping to save our environment around us are listed below: 

1.Planting trees : trend of planting trees in every birthday of our family members in marginal land near our community has been followed from recent years . I have planted two seedling of ipil ipil in my 21^st birthday on September . we conduct plantation program in our community every year by the help forest protection department.

2. use of cotton bag for shopping : my mother and i always use cotton bag while going market to buy vegetables and others stuffs . This has made less use of plastic bags and wastages  in environment .

3. Proper use of waste water : we use waste water from kitchen to our kitchen garden to grow vegetables . we always use only need amount of water and never overuse it. Sewage water from our house often collected in septic tanks which is directly connected our crop field.

4. use of kitchen waste : we collect vegetables parts and other degradable stuffs in a bag to make compost which we use it later as a fertilizer in our kitchen garden.

5.use of energy : In order to run fans ,television , bulbs and other electricals appliances we use  solar panels in order to utilize solar energy . This has made us  free from paying electricity bills .

6. use of bicycle :  we always use  bicycle to go to schools and market . This helps to make less use of fuel and helps to save little amount of non renewable form of energy.
