[December free Report] Electric Airplanes

by Jayden Kim | 26-12-2023 12:04

Imagine the planes of our world coming from hundreds of different countries. Tens of thousands of planes moved by petrol and gas, polluting our airs every day. Now what if there was an  electric plane? A plane that can completely remove petrol from the conversation?

It still is in production and development, but electric planes may become the future of aviation. Planes produce 2.5 percent of our global Co2 production. Even though it is just 2.5 percent, looking at it in the global scale can truly show that 2.5 percent is not a small amount.

Slowly and slowly, we need to transition everything from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Our world is already destroyed with pollution, and the less and less we use fossil fuels and rely on gas, the higher the chance that we have to save our planet.

Aviation is just that way. Technology is evolving, and in the near future, it may just become possible. There are however, some obstacles. Being able to power a plane with electricity is very difficult compared to cars. Furthermore, the distance can also become a problem. Electricity does have a shorter lifespan in terms of energy producing.
