Greetings to 27^th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors! We are already in our last month of our term. This is your mentor Joon and I am writing this article to announce the Theme of the Month for February succeeding January’s topic, ‘Carbon Neutrality’. The keyword for the last month will be <"What I am doing to help the environment">.

 Getting to the point directly, for this month, we would like our ambassadors to share their own stories about how one is dealing with environmental problems in their life. It can be a story of their daily life or new goal could be set from this moment. Set up a goal now and show how you are dealing with it.

 Through past five months of ambassadorship, I believe everyone is now quite familiar with environmental issues so it would be easier for our ambassadors to set up a goal. We have looked on issues relate to ‘Zero Waste’, ‘Eco-Friendly Waste Management’, ‘Air Pollution’, ‘Careers related to Renewable Energy’, and ‘Carbon Neutrality’. By researching for such themes, ambassadors would now have sufficient knowledge and, hopefully, thought about the ways to deal with different environmental problems.

 What can you do? What do you think you should do? Please have some time to think about it if you have not. Setting up a reachable goal is most important. For instance, through researching process of Carbon Neutrality, ambassadors would have found out that there is not much, even though there exists some that we may put into our real life, individuals can do about as it is mostly related to industries. Assess your own ability through the questions ‘What can I do?’ That is why I have put the same question on the start of the paragraph. Your ability includes your expertise and what you can do without no one’s help, but it may also include further conditions. If you can contact and cast others with the ability that you require, that may also be counted as your ability. Make sure to have as rational as possible, but do not limit yourself on what you can do.

Now that you have figured out your ability, choose a biggest problem which has to be addressed within the scope of your ability. If there are several topics which shares similar priority, then choose the one that interests you the most. It would maximize the efficiency of your work and you can be devoted to it.

There is no limited or designated way to write for this month’s topic, as always, but one possible way of writing it is by following the concept of photolog, which is similar to VLOG, but with photo and writings. Or you may also make an actual VLOG. It does not mean everyone has to file the video or take a photo. It is just a suggestion so do not push yourself to a ton of stress.
