December Free Report

by Jae Hee Lee | 19-12-2023 12:10

As mentioned in the previous Report:

Bulacan province, located in the Philippines, places significant challenges when it comes to basic infrastructure. Many rural areas still lack access to proper sewer systems making sanitation and clean water distribution difficult. The absence of adequate food resources  and clean water troubles the local population.

This month's donation focused on providing clean water and food solutions to the residents of Bulacan, especially in areas where access to proper sewer systems is lacking. Through collaboration with a local non profit, we were able to extend our reach to over 120 children. This initiative not only addressed the immediate health concerns related to waterborne diseases but also emphasized the essential role clean water plays in promoting overall well-being. Our recent donation included over 10 bags filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. This nutritional support is crucial in areas where there is an  absence of adequate food resources.

Our volunteers actively engaged with the local community during the donation and distribution process, gaining valuable insights into the challenges faced by residents. This experience has deepened our understanding of the interconnectedness of environmental, social, and economic factors. Donations of clean water and nutritional support not only addresses immediate needs but also contributes to the resilience of the local ecosystem. Recognizing this  motivates us to continue advocating for sustainable solutions that benefit both people and the environment.
