Free Report - Climate Change

Climate Change, do we need any prove again?

We have been talking about climate change almost every day I turn on my radio to listen to BBC news. But in my view, I feel we are doing more talking with less actions. I will not go far but sit in my own backyard; Ghana. There is still massive illegal mining, illegal tree felling, indiscriminate and improper disposal of waste, and its effects can be felt today.

Ghana is a country well noted for its two main weather climate; the dry season (which starts with the harmattan season) and the wet season which starts with rainfall.

Ideally, the dry season is between the months of (November and April) and the wet season is between the months of (May and July). But today as I write, it is not the same scenario again. Since, the past two (2) years I have personally observed that the climate has changed so much. The harmattan which started in the late December and ends within in the late January now start in the late January and end in the late March. Isn¡¯t weird and a more proof that climate change exists and it affecting our daily lives negatively each and every day? In the month September and October alone this year, there has been much rainfall that I have not experienced in my life as a Ghanaian before. For this two months, every single day it rains! This is so weird and bad. You wake up, get geared to carry out the day¡¯s activities, the weather forecast says there may be a showering so you factor that into your schedule only to be met later in the day by a heavy thunderstorm! Ghana is a developing country, what this means is that most of our roads are in very poor conditions and when it rains, the roads become muddy making it very difficult to navigate and this too embarrassing and frustrating.

So I ask, those who still that climate change is just a hoax, what evidence again do you need?
