Free report: A way to refresh in environment (September)

by Asmita Gaire | 23-10-2021 11:43

It has been quite a long time, I strongly would like to make an apology for the delay in writing reports. I had my exam and other important stuffs.

It was during my exam period when I had 2 days leave for the preparation. I was thinking of making myself refresh and was thinking of several ideas like movie or listening musics or via other way. I suddenly remembered about the lemon cutting that was grown in noodles wrapper making a pouch. The noodle plastic waste wrapper really did a great job. The cutting of lemon had new sepals. I then made a utilization of time and transplanted lemon cutting into the land. There were 5 lemon cuttings.

At the same time, the Banyan tree that I have planted few years ago had grown. In Nepalese culture, Banyan and peepal trees have great significance. Both trees are planted near to one another. So, I also thought of planting peepal tree nearby Banyan tree. I planted banyan and peepal tree along with 5 lemon cuttings that was grown in waste wrapper of noodles. I must say it was very worthy time for me, and I felt so relaxed and refreshed since I was doing something that can give life to a new biological things. Nowadays, I daily look after those plants and water them and truly, when the new leaves sprout from it, the feeling is unexplainable. Though it takes time for new leaves to come out and plant to grow but it¡¯s worth waiting.

The Peepal is also called as the Sacred Fig. The botanical name of peepal is Ficus religiosa. The familiar and popular Banyan (Ficus benghalensis) is a relative of the Peepal. It is also believed in the ¡°Brahma Purana¡± that Lord Vishnu was born under a Peepal Tree. For this reason, the ¡°Peepal tree¡± also symbolizes lord Vishnu. Peepal is considered as a god-figure in Hinduism. Along with peepal, Banyan tree is also regarded by many communities. There is a story associated with the ceremony of Vat-Pournima which tells that Savitri, by worshipping the banyan tree on the Jyeshta Pournima, brought back to life her dead husband by the grace of Yama, the god of death. Along with the mythological story, these trees have great economic and natural significance. Surrounded by the religious belief, it feels good that people are worshipping the trees and are planting them. These kind of religious teachings are worth for mankind and nature in nutshell.

How do you like to make yourself refresh ?
