We're going to discuss about a man named William Kamkwamba today!
William is a Malawian inventor who was born in the city of Katanga in the country of Malawi in 1987. He was kicked out of school when he was 13 years old, and his family couldn't afford to keep the lights on and pay the school fees! So he snuck into his school library and read a book while learning how to make windmills in the process! But he didn't have the funds to purchase the necessary components! So he built a windmill out of trash and tyres to power his family's home! His family does not have to pay for power because of William.

We can limit the need of power plants by building windmills to power every home, making the earth a better place to live for future generations!
