The National Green Climate Conference (MALAWI)

by Prince Foley | 27-08-2021 05:15

Dear colleagues,
MALAWI is conducting The National Green Climate Conference, from 26th (today) to 27th August 2021. The conference is being held in hybrid format, with only speakers and individually-invited guests able to attend in person, and all others participating remotely through Zoom.

The agenda (attached and below) contains details of the Zoom links for each of the sessions: please note that you need to register in advance for each session you want to attend using the links in the agenda.  Immediately upon registering through those links you will be provided with the relevant Zoom login details, and they will also be emailed to you.

Please keep these login details to hand with a copy of the agenda so you know which session you need to join at which time. The first session on Thursday morning and Friday morning will be prelimenaries, and the breakout sessions from 11:30 am -17:00 pm on Thursday will involve moderated discussions where you will have a chance to pose questions and submit comments through the chat function on Zoom.

There has been overwhelming interest in the conference, which is a great indication of the level of commitment to climate action in Malawi. However it has made the organisation challenging in these times of Covid protocols.
