Thematic report AUGUST : The eco friendly future

by Bal krishna Pandey | 15-08-2021 00:16

Hello friends. Warm greetings! Hope you people are doing well.

Here is my thematic report of august and I mainly focus on reducing plastic wastage to create the eco-friendly future. I believe that we can reduce our daily plastic wastes by small efforts.

To help prevent plastic stew from entering our garbage stream, try drinking at home and switching to reusable straw. Reusable straws can be made from a variety of different materials such as metal, silicone, bamboo, or glass. There are also compostable straws that can be made from paper. Similarly, plastic bags can be banned while others are focusing on implementing effective plastic bag recycling programs. Store your portions and groceries with reusable bags! It encourages cutting out the use of plastic in a single way and encourages others to do the same. If we have plastic bags in the kitchen that need to be recycled, we can try to bring them back to the grocery store.

This thin plastic is difficult to recycle and can clog machines at recycling facilities. There are many other options for preserving leftover food! An alternative to plastic wrap is moss paper that is reusable, washable and compostable. Rinse it with cold water to prevent the bees from plowing. You can make wax paper yourself at home, or it can be purchased. Another alternative to plastic wrap is to store your food in glass storage containers or glass jars. The glass is 100% reusable and can be recycled without loss of quality or purity. Dishcloth is a great way to keep your product fresh. Try wrapping it in a cloth and keeping it in your fridge, or put your product in a bowl and put the cloth on top. You can fix the cloth to the bowl using a rubber band, creating an airtight seal.

Plastic containers and dishes cannot be recycled and end up in the trash. To avoid landfill space, use utensils made of metal or bamboo and ceramic plates. These materials can be used frequently. If you are hosting a party and you do not have enough ceramic plates, or you are worried about breaking them, use compostable plates. Compostable plates can break down in our environment in a few months. While paper plates can take 20 years, and Styrofoam plates can take more than a million years.
