(Thematic Report) The eco - friendly future professions.

by Shirin Shukhratova | 09-08-2021 17:42

To tell you the truth, I can't even believe that these 6 months flew by so quickly. I am immensely grateful to every Ambassador and active participant of Tunza Eco Generation for such a clear interest and desire to live a more conscious life. Although I have not actively commented on the Ambassador's posts, I can assure you that I have read absolutely all of the information and articles that Ambassadors have published. With special warmth I want to mention our mentors, who were so meticulous and responsive to us and supported us in this green journey - thank you infinitely!

I would like to dedicate this report to a topic that I think will affect each of us soon, or already has - it is the choice of profession, namely the green professions. After studying a sufficient number of resources, I have compiled the most relevant of them, which may be of interest to some of us.

Environmental Lawyer. If you are interested in jurisprudence and along with that you enjoy learning about the environmental approach to life, then this is clearly the profession for you. Environmental law is a broad and complex specialization that is increasingly in demand. It is a field of law that requires a highly technical understanding of environmental issues along with the key skills needed to practice law. A career as an environmental lawyer allows you to influence attitudes and policy, not a bad alternative to finding scientific solutions to environmental problems.

Environmental nutritionist. A specialist who develops menus that are balanced, tasty, healthy, and safe for humans and nature. If current consumption trends continue, by 2050 mankind will need the resources of three planets like Earth. Given that the need for food is one of the basic human needs, creating a sustainable system for providing people with food will be vital for an increased world population.

Environmental Engineer. Environmental engineering is not just about constructing environmentally friendly buildings or renewable energy facilities. Such a profession includes all how buildings and facilities can affect the environment, including pollution control or sewage control or developing regulations to prevent accidents during construction.

Healthy Clothing Specialist. If you are interested in the topic of fashion and are burning with the desire to make it more sustainable, then this profession may clearly interest you. Today, unfortunately, as much as the fashion industry is trying to be more conscious, there are still a lot of gaps and things that should have been fixed. A specialist who can monitor the production of clothing in terms of its safety and health benefits (thermal insulation, ventilation, etc.), as well as develop clothing with therapeutic properties - for example, fabrics with decontaminating impregnation - can help you in this fashion.

Eco-producer. This is the person who invents and implements environmental education and outreach projects, regulates (or helps regulate) the administrative, technological, creative or legal aspects of the activity, coordinates the production of content (teaching aids, text, photo and video materials, handbooks, etc.) and technological solutions.

Of course, this is not an exhaustive list, but I have chosen the ones that might interest you and along with that let you know that we still have a lot of work to do in greening our space.

Thank you for reading to the end, and send you some sunshine and goodness:))
