However, a transformative initiative, the Sustainable Energy for Ecuador (SEE) project by USAID, aims to rewrite this narrative. Centered around sustainable energy technologies, such as renewables and modern electric grids, SEE seeks to revolutionize Ecuador's energy landscape while nurturing economic prosperity.

The SEE project operates on a multifaceted approach.
