 Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the planet, they give us oxygen, store carbon, balance the soil and give life to the world¡¯s wildlife. They also provide us with the materials for tools and shelter. The benefits of tress are countless: Trees benefit health Trees benefit the environment Trees boost wildlife Trees strengthen communities Trees grow the economy Trees protect the future Trees are needed for our existence. So,Today on the occasion of Teachers Day, I along with my youth friend planted over 40 trees in my region, which includes 20 Eucalyptus trees and 20 Teak (Tectona grandis) trees. With the slogan of "Plant for a Planet" we have worked on it. It take us about 7 minutes to plant one tree, so why aren't we planting trees instead we are wasting our precious time engaging in other non useful stuff. With the aim of adding little greenery to mother nature we have done this. At last I wanna say that: - ¡°Save trees, save the earth; we are the guardians of nature¡¯s gifts.¡± |
