The term biodiversity refers to the variety of flora and fauna living together on the earth. It helps to keep balance in our environment. Conservation of biodiversity is much needed for the continued survival and existence of human beings, animals, and plants on our planet. Nowadays biodiversity is declining due to human activities such as industrialization, deforestation, and increasing pollution. We need to be more careful and look for several ways to protect our biodiversity. We should emphasize the need and importance of biodiversity. We must start practicing eco-friendly ways to conserve nature. The following steps can be followed to conserve biodiversity:- 1. Afforestation:- As we all know, plants absorb carbon dioxide and provide us fresh air to breathe and make us healthy. So plantation should be done on bare land. 2. Maintaining habitat for extinct animals:- Animals are being extinct because of disturbance or destruction in their habitat. So we must save them from being extinct. 3. Population control:- The major reason for the declination of biodiversity is the increasing population. As the population increase, the demand and need of people also increase, and to fulfill our needs the environment should sacrifice. There are many ways to conserve biodiversity and we should consider that otherwise, our future generation cannot see a green environment. |
