Producing electricity from wasted oranges is one of the newest idea. The city of Seville in Spain is called citrus heaven. It is top city of Europe for orange production. To maintain the balance we need to recycle excess products.Orange trees in Seville are beautiful, but Spanish people don't like bitter fruits.

That's why this oranges are wasted. To utilize this oranges Seville's municipal water company using this fruit in a facility that already turns organic matter into electricity.Early trials 1000kg oranges can fuel five homes in a day.It is assumed that if all Seville oranges were harvested that could power 73000 homes. It is like generating green electricity from city oranges.

Actually this bitter oranges looks beautiful in trees but when they accumulate on roads and squashed under vehicles, attracts different insects, pose threat to pedestrians and so on;then it becomes tough for city sanitation department. So,if this fruits are utilized in certain fields then it will be suitable for the people and city. This is very new idea about producing electricity.

After recovering bitter oranges from streets of the city from the fermenting fruit methane gas is used to generate electricity. The husk and part of oranges that could not be used are turned into compost. In this way, oranges are used.If this procedure is taken significantly then it will be better source for electricity.

Science has no limitations of invention.Green electricity production will bring better management of environment.
