by Pragati Dubey | 30-06-2021 20:09

Green Vehicles or Electric vehicles: Many countries of the world have moved towards electric mobility.  India is also moving slowly but slowly in this direction.  Let us know what it means and what are the advantages and disadvantages of electric vehicles?
  • Disadvantages of electric/green vehicle:

 1. Lack of Charging Station:
The biggest advantage of electric vehicles is that no fuel is added to it.  Just charged and ready to drive.  However, the biggest problem is the lack of sufficient number of charging stations.  Electric vehicles are just beginning in India and the charging stations in the country are just a nominal one.
2. Price:
Generally, electric cars are much more expensive than diesel or petrol cars.  People have the option of buying another powerful car at the same price.  Let us tell you that the electric cars or scooters that are coming in the Indian market at the moment are not that much power full.
3. Low Power:
As we mentioned above, electric vehicles are less powerful than normal diesel or petrol vehicles.  Motor is being used in them now and their cost is also high.  Therefore, there is no special option left for people to choose a performance car.
4. Pollution:
However, electric vehicles generate much less emissions than other common vehicles and cause much less pollution.  Yet it is not completely pollution free.  Because the batteries used in electric vehicles and the energy used to charge them are not necessarily generated from green energy.

  • Advantages of electric cars:

 1. Less pollution:
The biggest advantage of electric vehicles is that they generate much less pollution than ordinary vehicles.  They have a motor which makes emissions almost negligible.
2. Get rid of fuel:
With the use of electric vehicles, you can get rid of the rising petrol or diesel prices day by day.  It just has to be charged.  There is no need to go to the petrol pump again and again to refuel it.
3. Less Expenses:
Compared to other vehicles, the cost of maintenance and maintenance of electric vehicles is less.  It does not require much servicing.  It can also be charged at home.
4. Less noise pollution:
Of course, electric vehicles make much less noise than ordinary vehicles, nor do they vibrate much.  The ride of an electric vehicle is quite smooth.
