by Bindu Dhakal | 06-06-2021 21:04

Hello everyone warm greetings and Green Cheers!! I am Bindu Dhakal from the beautiful city of Chitwan Nepal. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science at Agriculture and Forestry University. I like to be called an environment activist and green living advocate. This time I am presenting about different environmental conservation efforts by my different friends whom I study with. I believe directly or indirectly I have been inspiring them to do so. My Green Living is a series of the report at Eco-tunza generation, for easier understanding each day I will be featuring 1 green living lifestyle.

In this episode, I am sharing the story of Bipana Kandel.

Bipana Kandel is trying to make the environment healthy by properly disposing of the waste that comes from her home. Let's hear the story from her own words ¡°Hello everyone! I am Bipana Kandel from Nepalgunj-4, Banke. The picture below shows how we manage wastes. For biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes, we have a separate dustbin in our home. Non-biodegradable wastes are collected on day to day basis by the vehicle of our municipality. For biodegradable wastes, we use them to make compost manure which we use in our nearby kitchen garden. This improves our health and also decreases pollution in our environment.¡±
