South Asian countries especially Nepal and India has been struggling due to CoVid 19 wave. By now, all of us is well aware about the fact that we are never certain about the what the future will bring. Living in present is must. For living, whether it's pandemic or it's lockdown; agriculture and medical sectors never gets locked. It has to run. Despite the threat of CoVid 19, we can take a moment to cherish on the progress that's happening currently. In this condition, one of the district of Nepal, Chitwan which is located in the central part of Nepal had become successful to introduce strawberry farming for the first time. Nepal Agrovine privated limited had introduced strawberry farming for the first time in Bharatpur, Chitwan in large scale. It got grand success in the first year. After the success in strawberry farming, it had introduced watermelon farming too. In foreign countries, seedless watermelon isn't a new thing, but in Nepal it's new. Introduction of these seedless watermelon was made by Nepal Agrovine private limited, this is really a big achievement and cherishable moment in this chaos condition. In the district where temperature goes high from (39-42) degree Celsius, sometimes even higher in summer season; this watermelon farming is really a source of hydration. People can visit farm itself and get fresh quality watermelon with majestic taste. This farming is not only purposed for commerical purpose, but it's main motto is to make a research on strawberry and watermelon farming. Students from Agriculture faculty of different universities are carrying out research on this field. I take this approach as one of the positive approach I have encountered in this second surge of CoVid 19 pandemic. What about yours? |
