Free report - Why did my "Achta" tree die?

by Elina Haber | 31-05-2021 22:08

Did you know? Houses surrounded by trees sell for 18-25% higher than those with no trees. In my garden, many trees are planted and some grew with us while others died. One of them is our sweet tree which grows custard apples. Seeing it die made me sad and curious at the same time. So let's find out how and where these CO2 wipers live as well as their benefits. And to finish, we'll know what killed my hearted-fruit tree.

Annona grows fast, in a low-lying, deep, rich soil with ample moisture and with good drainage. For a good development, custard apples require an average amount of sunlight. A basic environment with a solution of a pH between 7 and 8 also boosts their development. Annona trees may die from too much fruiting, so it is recommended to take the heart-shaped fruit when it becomes the size of a fingernail. Sweetsops are largely found in tropical America, the West Indies, and Australia which is the biggest producer of Annona trees. Their season begins in April and ends in June.

This tree has a variety of names, "custard apple" being its most common English name. Also called bullock's-heart, it is a member of the Annonaceae family consisting of flowering plants from trees, soursops are one of the 2106 accepted Annonaceae species. It gives a compound fruit specialized by its heart shape, colorful skin with creamy pulp. They can survive cold weather, at a temperature between -2 and -3¡ÆC (26 and 28 ¡ÆF). Their leaves are sometimes long and narrow, their flowers never fully open. Guanabanas are short in height and know as Graviolas in Brazil, they do not occupy a large space. Fun fact; in Arabic, this fruit is called "قشطة", pronounced "Achta".

Bullock's hearts have many benefits for human health, such as cancer treatment, stress-busting, mood-boosting, high blood pressure prevention, and many more.  Those cancer cell killers are 10,000 times more effective than chemotherapy, which is a drug treatment that uses powerful chemicals to remove toxic cells from the affected patient. It also is considered to be an anti-bacteria that prevents the occurrence of parasites, internal worms, etc. After 1970 scientists have proved that "Achta"  destroys the mortal cells of 12 diseases of cancers present in the colon, breast, prostate, lungs, and pancreas. Antioxidants, found in the fruit's peel and pulp fight the free radicals caused by oxidative stress. Also called Cherimoya, it contains a vast amount of vitamin B6 which helps to make serotonin and dopamine, the main mood boosters.

The "Achta" we once had did not suddenly die, it has been losing its leaves for months until it eventually caused its death. An adverse environment reduces any tree's development, whereas there is a lack of watering causing the tree to stay in drought conditions. Another reason could be hurtful insects and diseases, they simply damage the tree's health. Furthermore, catastrophes and the inability to sustain life for very long also could be the reason for a tree's death. Based on what's been said, my "Achta" tree's leaves were lost due to the lack of watering.

In a nutshell, custard apples are found in many countries in a large amount. They have more than 10 different names. Called "Achta" in Arabic, they cure all types of cancer. These members of the Annonaceae family are high blood pressure preventers, mood-boosters and stress-busters. What unfortunately killed my "Achta" tree was its adverse environment that lacked water.
