ECO-FRIENDLY MEASURES TO SAFEGUARD WILDLIFE CORRIDORS

by Meena Pandey | 27-05-2021 16:30

In this havoc of second wave of COVID 19 in Nepal, we are again under lockdown since 1 month. So, in order to make this time not less worthy than those days when we could wander everywhere we wished, IVSA Paklihawa in coordination with Tunza Ecogeneration is back with exhilarating program.

Wildlife plays a critical role in balancing the environment and ensuring the stability of various natural processes. Wildlife is valuable for its aesthetic value, economic value, scientific worth, and survival worth. It contributes to the maintenance of nature's ecological balance and the food chain. Conservation of wildlife also entails environmental preservation. The ecosystem includes wildlife, the environment, and humans.

This time we are having a webinar on the topic "ECO-FRIENDLY MEASURES TO SAFEGUARD WILDLIFE CORRIDORS" with our guest speaker Mr. Pramod Neupane (Senior Program Officer- Infrastructure, WWF).

Urbanization in many ways has devastated the wildlife corridors, resulting in decreased wildlife population. So, there is an immediate need of solutions and actions to resilient it. This webinar will hoist the suitable strategies/ measures that can diminute the obliteration of wildlife corridors.

This online program will definitely extend your knowledge on ecofriendly strategies to safeguard wild life corridors.
