Crop disease control

crop rotation system

Crop system improvement is a natural and important method to prevent crop pests. The concept of crop rotation reduces the likelihood of crop pests. When the same crop is cultivated for a long time, the diseases and insects in the crop can increase in number and digest the toxins.

Cultivation of perennials and intercrops does not increase the incidence of crop diseases and is not resistant to pesticides. Due to which, the problem of crop disease pests is reduced to some extent. For example, cauliflower pests have become a major problem in the current situation. The problem is even more complex in the many villages. Such diseases cannot be managed by pesticides alone. According to the cyclic cropping system, cauliflower balances the crop with coarse crops and grains, and when planted with a variety of crops, the crop's natural friendly organisms kill the crop pests. Which automatically balances the crop's 'ecosystem'.

Crop cycle can be made with other crops. In one season, eggplant, chilli group and next time, cauliflower group can be planted. Crops, pulses and grain crops, wave crops, onion-garlic are cultivated by changing the crop diseases and pests begin to weaken. Similarly, cultivating flowers in farm deals is another appropriate step. When flowers are planted around, the friendly creatures of the crop have a place to be 'nectar' and live. It also increases the number of friendly creatures. Mixing flowers in the field also controls pests.

Biological control method

Plants like neem, bakaino, bojo, asuro, bitter gourd are the plants that help in biological control. These plants do not kill insects. However, these plants work to make insect food tasteless, create odors, and repel insects. "Protecting crops is more important than killing insects."

Emphasis on the use of organic manure

The use of chemical fertilizers lightly enhances the crop. However, at the same time, the crop may be infested with insects. When the balance of manure is not balanced, crop insects become strong. The use of organic manure is more beneficial than chemical manure. The use of organic manure does not have any effect.
