NIGERIA : 25 Million trees will be planted to absorb Carbon dioxide

The Nigerian president Muhammad Buhari announces a massive reforestation plan for 25 million trees.

Muhammad Buhari, who spoke at the United Nations climate summit in New York explains that the objective of this reforestation is to increase carbon sink. 
This initiative will also respond to the urgent need for reforestation in the country that has lost about ninety percent of its forest cover. 
Nigeria is getting an ecological boost after many questions about the critical level of its forest reserves.
The West African country will soon experience a vast reforestation plan. "we will mobilise Nigerian youths to plant 25 million trees to increase our carbon sink"- said president Muhammad Buhari.
