BUY NOTHING RAMPUR (BNR)

This a story of a group of students who are living in the hostel of a University in Nepal. BNR is a group where you can find a way to give, receive, share, lend and express a gratitude through a close and safe network. Someone who is currently living around the area of the college/ university, if they own something (which has not been used or will never use again) and wish to give it someone who really need ; or a person looking for something want to have it but don’t want to buy an join this group.

This is a user-friendly group mainly concerned about carbon footprint and want to promote the habit of Recycling, Reusing and Reducing, which finally helps in combatting climate change in the minimal way possible.

There are many things that we can share or give away in hostel such as photocopy notes, color boxes and so many things we can reuse or recycle. Our trash can be useful to someone. This kind of gesture can be a good platform to reduce our waste also an idea to save our money.
