Bhima is currently leading as the President of ZeroDebris Nepal which a country representation of ZeroDebris that basically encourages and motivates volunteers to pick trashes in public spots and places. She is also working as the R&D officer and a core member of a youth led organization: BetterChitwan, which is a voluntary youth initiative, led by group of youngsters from Chitwan. President of Veterinary Students for Animal Welfare (Vet-SAW) 2nd committee (2019/20), Bhima is a final year veterinary student who has been vegan for 2 years and is very passionate about sustainable living and advocating on animal rights and welfare.

It¡¯s been four years that I have known Bhima and she is one of the most conscious climate activists I have come across. She is a final year veterinary student, an ethical vegan and a blooming climate activists who has tremendous potential and courage to create an impact for this earth. She is currently leading an organization called ZeroDebris which main motive is to encourage youths to voluntarily pick trashes from public places and organize proper litter management practices in society. So far they have run five different events and collected trash over 300 pounds. The most unique thing about this organization is that everything is run voluntarily as they truly believe that managing litter should not be contained to only cleaners but everyone in this planet and seeing these volunteer picking litter done by other people, the observer also builds this sense of responsibility. Similarly, she is also the core member of a youth-led organization, BetterChitwan where they time and often run plantation program, distribute second hand clothes to the needy people and conduct various competition like making cash from trash, recycling arts and project. As President of Veterinary Students for Animal Welfare (Vet-SAW) 2nd committee (2019/20), she had been working in animal welfare, stray animal management, Rabies control program, Adoption of stray dog and encouraging people for volunteering in these campaigns .

To mention some of her achievements, she has been able to collect trashes above 330 pounds in less than 6-7 months with the help of other volunteers in different public places of her hometown Chitwan. She also mentioned how local people would see and participate in the activity. Also she has worked as the producer of two PSA on Environment and Climate organized by the International Youth Media Summit in 2019 and 2020 (PSA YouTube link attached below). This PSA has been screened in 25+ countries including the United Nations (UN) central office of Nepal. Similarly she is very active on her social media where she vocally shares how going Vegan can have so much of a great impact on the earth and similarly supporting ethical, eco friendly and minimalistic living. This has definitely send her families and friends including all her followers a very educational and informative message on sustainable living. Similarly, she has also worked as the social media manager for a leading climate organization Himalayan Climate Initiative (HCI) where she has been admired to achieve a huge social media following on the page in a short span . There she was responsible to share 7 days posts all on climate and environment.

Her future plan includes continuing her advocacy in vegan lifestyle for animals and the planet through social medias. She wants to aware and inform more people about living sustainable lifestyle, promoting eco-friendly brands and living a minimalistic lifestyle. As a vet she wants to speak for the animals and relate their existence importance in this earth. As per her whatever she will do will definitely continue motivating and inspiring people to live more consciously and responsibly and do whatever they can for this only planet they get to call home.
