Environmental Jobs
This is a very amusing topic and I am thankful of Tunza Eco-Generation that they gave me the chance to explore more about this.
First let¡¯s start off by explaining a little bit as to what the environmental jobs are, according to the United Nations Environment Program they are jobs in the agricultural manufacturing, research and development and also include jobs where individuals work for the conservation of biodiversity ecosystem. These jobs mostly are beneficial as they help both in the capital growth and reduce the environmental hazards.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, are classified as, "jobs in business that produce goods or services that benefit the environment or conserve natural resources"

Now that we know what these jobs are let¡¯s explore some of them.

There are many types of scientists that we see in the fields of STEM but do you know that there are also scientists working specifically for environment- they examine the environment (for example by sampling the land, water, air or other natural resources) , agriculture-they study plants, cultivation techniques, and water quality- they see that minimum standards of water quality are met and climate change- they present data on the structure and dynamics of our climate system. Yes that¡¯s true and other than that we also have Ecologist-Investigate ecosystems as a whole, they investigate living and non-living, one of whom I met when I was at the Nature Walk- where we  get to explore different specifies of plants growing in the region in my city. They explained to me the various species of trees and plants in the area and it fascinated me a lot. Other than this we also have conservation officers-Advance and ensure protection of the natural environment and resources by educating people, forestry manager- are responsible for the cultivation of forests.

Now let¡¯s talk about the scope of these jobs in India
India has a forest department and out of the three Indian services the one is comprised of solely Forest Services. It started in the 1966. The main aim of the department is the implementation of National Forest Policy and it states that it plans to ensure the ecological ¡°stability of the country through the protection and participatory sustainable management of natural resources.¡± There are positions like the district and divisional officer, conservator of forests, chief conservator of forests. The most high ranking job out of these is the head of Forest forces. Sources-wikipedia, Indian forest services

I am intrigued at the scope of contributing to the field of environment through these services. A s someone interested in science I hopefully plan to explore these jobs as I explore jobs. I thank the Tunza Eco Generation for helping me explore this novel avenue and giving me a chance to share it with all of you. Let me know if you are interested in any of these jobs.
Green Cheers
