Dear all, Hope you are doing well. Having read previous reports of our fellow ambassadors, I got truly motivated that many young people, not government acts to achieve sustainability. Hence, let me share you a very brief, but, hopefully informative situation in Uzbekistan. Since the newly elected governmental representatives, the situation has enormously been changed. For instance, a new eco - party was the first initiative that we, citizens as well as government, are not unconcerned. After a while, Agenda for 2030 had a great impact on change-making process. Therefore, Ecoweek events are being held to celebrate significant days for the ecosystem since 2017. According to UNDP Representatives' resolutions for the next decade, we need to seek to raise the awareness of the country¡¯s people – especially young people – and encourage their interest and action for environmental protection, efficient use and reproduction of biological resources, and waste management.
