¡°There is no time like the present to better understand the planet, our home and our effect on it¡±

We are the very first generation of the universe to realize the crises in the environment, to realize about our actions that is creating the deleterious impact on the environment. Nowadays there are  wide environmental films popping up in a range in topics which has made wide opportunity to learn planet, their protection strategy and our commitment to fighting the climate change issue. Here are some of my best documentary related to environment. I strongly recommend everyone to watch this documentary once.

Some of them are:

1.      The 11th Hour

2.      Meat the Truth

3.      Trapped

4.      Climate Change the fact

5.      Chasing coral

6.      An Inconvenient Truth

7.      Gasland

8.      A plastic Ocean

A plastic Ocean review;

We live in the world of plastics. There are many plastics items that we use in our daily basis like shopping bags, drink bottles, toothbrush, and even the clothes. But the deteriorating impact of the plastics can not be just ignored. Since 1950s human have been mass producing the plastic items. The production is increasing but the reusing of those thrown plastics has not been implemented. Only a very small portion of the plastics has been recycled. The majority ends up in the landfill o in the worse scenario, our oceans

A plastic ocean is the documentary film directed by the Australian Journalist Craig Leeson. It dives into and investigates the devastating impact caused by the plastics to our environment especially our marine life. This film presents the beautiful shots of the marine environment. This contrasts with footage of heavily polluted cities and damps full of plastic rubbish. These images shows and portraits the message that our actions and choices can severely impact the planet. What starts off as an adventure to the film is that the blue whale the largest animal on the planet leads to the shocking discovery of a thick layer of plastics debris floating in the middle of the indian ocean. Craig along side Tanya Streeter a world record breaking free driver and environmental activist, then travel across the globe to report on the havoc caused by decade of plastics use.

The Future of plastics: There is no any quick strategy to fix this problem. The use of plastics is so ingrained in the society that it is all but so impossible to eliminate completely. This film offer various that we can adopt to minimize the impact of plastics such as ideally avoid plastics containing products as much as possible, avoid single use plastics products and recycle whatever you can. Similarly local government also need to implement a refund scheme for the return of plastics bottles to incentivize recycling.
