 Dear all, Hope you are doing well. Living in a rapidly changing environment, we daily can observe the importance of any modes of transport. I used to use a taxi even if I was very young, what I mean is to have an active life. Yet, after having a trip to Singapore, I realized how it is important to have a healthy lifestyle. It is not only about diet, nutrition but it is about thinking of the future. If we think regarding current comfy times, the next generation will not be able to experience even 1/10 of it. It is always complicated to achieve a goal within a short period, therefore, the country I am from, Uzbekistan, started implementing a new system for eco-mobility. For instance, news about the usage of bikes on the last Friday of each month was something innovative. I would like to highlight the establishment of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan has a great impact on launching a new structure for the young people who are passionate about changing the world, helping the world. It should also be mentioned that the establishment of an ecological party made big importance to raise awareness of citizens. Moreover, the percentage of people who voted for this party was way more than it was expected to be. Since I joined this platform Tunza Eco-Generation, I am way more aware of climate issues, hence, I do my best not to use any transport for short walks unless I am extremely late to go somewhere. I prefer not to use a taxi as I was used to. Suggesting eco-friendly mobility had helped all my friends a lot to know more regarding sustainable development. I believe that public transport instead of private cars will help our country, the planet is strong for any economic or any type of urgent change! Thanks! |
