What makes humans -human?
Let¡¯s talk to humans in this report. What promoted the human species to the top of the energy pyramid? What made them dominate the earth in every possible way? Let¡¯s cut the obvious ones here. It is not the gene that makes us genius. We share 99% similarity with the Apes. Apes are our closest species. They are not the biggest ones, not the brightest one either. Yes, they have some memory and intelligence but most living ones have it. Even the bacteria are proven to use optimal conditions for breeding. If it is not a gene what might it be? If you are thinking it is the social behaviors, you might not be true. Lower organisms like a virus, bacteria also live in the colony. We are not above them in terms of colonial behaviors.
Humans are one of the youngest creatures on earth. Even cockroaches have lived much more on earth than us. So, adaptability might also not be the sole one. The human body is a complicated system. All these organs work in perfect harmony to make a wholesome organism a human. But even these systems are not smart ones. They fail to function once they are taken out of the body. Needs a sophisticated environment to keep them alive for minutes.
So, what is the one human has that other lacks? It is the coordination of all facts. In math¡¯s when one has added to one it makes two. But in biology when one has added to one it sums much more than just two. Curiosity, intelligence, social behaviors, species behaviors, and our instincts make us above all. The development of language has dragged us much above our competitors. We learn from mistakes much quicker than others. We can work together faster and effectively.
So humans are not just humans they will shape the future, won't they?
