It drew attention of several environmentalist, biologists, researchers and all the concerned authorities. The research was done in the mysterious death of those elephants. Several theories on death of elephant was ruled out. It was then found that they must have died of poisoning. The elephants were found to be consuming water from nearby pond. The pond had huge mass of algae. The blue green algae also called as cyanobacteria produces toxin which when consumed by elephant in high concentration leads to fatal poisoning case that ultimately lead to death of elephant. This algae is supposed to grow in warm climate. With the climate change and increase in temperature of Earth, the warm water in the pond favored the algae growth in very dense amount. Researchers aren't yet confirmed about the cause of death but they are making high estimation on blue green algae poisoning since after water in the pond dried during drought season, the incidence of death of elephant was found to be reduced.

This incidence highly drew the attention of all the people in the world whether they are environmentalist, conservationist, biologists, researchers, veterinarians, climate activist or people in the other sectors. This incidence clearly depicts the climate change is happening and it's result is not bearable. The death of elephant is a warn to whole ecosystem, and is a warn to human to get ready for other consequences which may be targeted to human itself.
