I have successfully completed the defence of my manuscript report on Value Chain Analysis of Tomato in Lalitpur District on September 2, 2020 and completed by BSc Agriculture. My research site were Godavari Municipality, Konjyosom Rural Municipality, Bagmati Rural Municipality.

I spent my six months as an intern at Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project, Vegetable Zone, Lalitpur. The time and moment spent were really productive. From my study and analysis, I concluded following major conclusions

1. Majority of farmers have agriculture as major source of income.

2. Average area under tomato cultivation was 0.3 hectare and majority of respondents had 6-10 years of farming experience.

3. Value Chain Actors involved in tomato were Producer, Local Collector, Wholesaler and Retailer .

4. The Benefit Cost Ratio was found to be 1.61.

5. Low Price, Market Unavailability, Price Fluctuation, Perishable Nature were the major production and marketing problems.
