   We are using our resources as if we have 1.6 earths! Whaaat!!? I am so glad to find out about the Overshoot Day as it was hard to visualize just how much resources we are using every day. I even got to know more about Bangladesh¡¯s efforts to reduce consumption as I learned my country is doing better than average yet not good enough. We need everyone to come forward with their efforts and only then we may be able to do something amazing with this beautiful Earth. I was also going through the participants on Facebook, Twitter and not to mention Eco-generation. I was surprised to find an astonishing number of people had their number range from 2-4 earths! I feel like I should take steps to educate them more about the intensity of the issue so they can have a better number next time. That¡¯s why My statement for the Overshoot Day read thusly:
I refuse to believe people are inherently evil and are actively trying to harm environment and so they need their inspiration not only in thinking but also in action. It is inspiring to see all these young people taking responsibility about the Overshoot Day and spreading so much awareness. The Overshoot Day Event might just be the action someone needed so that they may go the extra mile. #MoveTheDate @EndOvershoot
