CITY COUNCIL COMBATES CLIMATE CHANGE

Published on the local ¡°City of Mbombela¡± newspaper, a series of environmental norms and attributes were highlighted and outlined. At mostly were the challenges and issues, which posed a threat to the overall sustainability and preservation of environment. Thus, pollution, deforestation, degradation of natural resources were the main which and contributed found out to being the actual factors where directed towards both human and business operations whilst conducting various activities. 
To annihilate and eradicate such was main priority as which resulted for the development and increment of ramifications posed to climate change, global warming aswel as other set environmental disastrous events posing danger to ordinary livelihood standards.
Better and fostered engagements and consultative interactions were prime and objective emphasis to being focused upon as possible mitigation factor and solution-driven approach to stabilize the current and prevent the future aswel.
Factories output and mining(Acid Mine Drainage) overspills, farming(overgrazing), dumping(littering), fossil fuel burning(polluting) etc were a miniscule factor challenges recognized.
The City of Mbombela Local Municipality council had structurally then developed governance and supervision mechanisms and measures to ensure a proactive and realistic step towards a merit and fruitful tolerance and relevance result towards the environment.
A structure to guide, advice and report on the wellbeing and strength of resilience and significance of pledged actions and solutions were outlined. More so, were the stringent frameworks developed and sustained to guarantee a decisive and concise meaning and understanding for yieldable results.
The adopted terms of reference to the frameworks, presented and enforced were the following:
•    Developing and sustaining a policy framework and fundamental analytical guide of fostered governance and leadership approach;
•    Development of a rearview monitoring and evaluation approach-supervising and controlling stakeholders to account and pledge responsibility effectiveness and efficiency;
•    Creation of a multi-community and government stakeholder corps and relations;
•    Expand and foster a facilitated communications and consultative engagement process of interactive approach.
Thus the council, through the appointed environmental ambassador, Mr Langa vouched to expand and extend communications to fellow community members and stakeholders; highlighting the significance for relevance and tolerance to environment conservation and preservation.    
Undertaking educational courses and outreach program activities and lessons to the younger primary schools to educations, community development centers and organizations.
