In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone. Everyone can contribute to making sure the Global Goals are met. We need everyone to come together and make this Super Year of action for people and for planet. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are global objectives that succeeded the Millennium Development Goals on 1 January 2016. The SDGs will shape national development plans over the next 15 years. From ending poverty and hunger to responding to climate change and sustaining our natural resources, food and agriculture lies at the heart of the 2030 Agenda.

The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 Goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve them all by 2030.
We are very glad to come up with you that we are going to organize the virtual program where we will have 17 different speakers talking on  17 different SDGs. This program aims to exchange the knowledge and overview SDGs. The webinar will provide an overview of the world’s implementation efforts to date, highlighting areas of progress and where more action needs to be taken. This program will certainly widen the attitude and knowing towards the agenda 2030. We are working with Eco-network, Bangladesh to conduct the webinar so as to collect the ideas and views from people of different corners of the world.
