Hey everyone,hope you all are fine and doing well….

I have been intrigued by the environment since when I was a child. Be it the trees in my backyard or even a flower on the roadside. I joined the Tunza Eco Generation around 2 year ago. This platform has changed my perspective towards the environment. Through this platform, I have gained valuable information about the environment. I am grateful to my Tunza mentors too.

Here are a few things that I did for the environment:

1.       We all hear the term climate change and problems in Delhi, Shanghai etc. We talk about environmental protection, sustainability. We are taught that one should protect, conserve our mother earth. But the question is what actions are we taking in our day to day life to conserve our planet earth?   What are we doing to create awareness, to promote local produces, to become a voice for the cottage industry people.

Hence, I have came with an App idea called the Big impact

The big impact app has various features:

1.       One of the key features is the list and sell eco friendly products which aim mainly to reduce single use plastic usage which could be like say eco -friendly straws, bags, bottles etc. Here, we can list products from Vendors, manufactures who produce such goods. This app also has a feature to list, products from differently abled people, artisans, cottage industry people who make such things at home. This app can list such goods and empower such people within their limitations. 

2.       The other feature of this app is the capability to list local Suppliers. Suppose an event is happening in your house and you want to rent out cutlery, you need to locate a stage decorator, or even planner you can search for such people.

This app will be a marketplace only for eco friendly products.  My app is currently in the prototype stage and I look forward to improving and perfecting the app.

I have also participated in various events like… paper collection drive, world mangrove day, world environment day, earth day and more.  As a 14  year old environmentalist, I have made it a goal to guard the future of our dear Earth. My love for the environment has pushed me to participate in events like recyclothons, beach cleanups and other environmental awareness campaigns at the local level. My aim has always been to expand the horizon in which I share ideas and thoughts. This is why I upload videos that inspire people to care for the environment on my YouTube channel.
