Positive environmental changes are brought from many different people, from young children to famous artists. They take actions and spread awareness through various ways such as music, movies, and words. Regardless of what form they choose, it is significant that their action plays a role in leading the earth to a more positive path. Edward Burtynsky is a photographer from Toronto, Canada, who captures the industrial landscapes around the world. His picture shows the polluted river turned into a bright orange color, land left bare after trees has been cut off, and piles of trashes on the floor. His photographs leaves a great impact on the viewer with a sense of amusement of the color it holds and concerns about the actions we had taken to destruct earth. Visually seeing what humans have done to earth effectively helps to feel the urgentness in solving the problems we have caused. Rob Stewart is a director, writer, photographer, conservationist born in Toronto, Canada. He had made films on environmental issues. One of his documentaries is Revolution (2012), which had been widely recognized around the world. He covered various topics on it like deforestation and destruction of ocean life. Another example of his film that has a environmental message is Sharkwater (2006). It¡¯s a footage of the dockside shark finning plant that brought a huge impact—more than 80 countries had made shark finning against the law. Lastly, Peter Soroye is a Canadian convervation biologist who is currently the Assessment and Outreach Coordinator for the Key Biodiversity Areas Program at Wildlife Conservation Society Canada. He had published a research in Sceince about how pollinators are getting affected by the climate change and habitat loss. This helps to protect the pollinator which plays a vital role in the environment. Hundreds and thousands of people are working to save earth. They provide solutions for big nad small environmental issues that are being created even now. We, also, can start our own actions as small as joining an environmental club to support.
