[Free Report] How I Have Tried to Help the Environment

by Seojin Lee | 16-08-2020 14:27

I have always cared a lot for the environment, and will always continue to do so until the rest of my life. Over the past few years, there are a few things I would like to share about the things I have done to try to help the environment, and they include joining multiple environmental groups and being part of an environment related Youtube channel.

I am currently part of multiple groups that are related to helping the environment. One of them is EcoSave, and the purpose of the group is to help people in need around the world; last summer, me and a few people part of the group went on a mission trip to the Philippines, and we helped set up a water purifying system so the people in the village all had access to clean water. I am also part of the EcoSave club in my school, and our main goal is to educate younger students about the environment and what challenges it currently faces. Last but not least, I am part of a group called HOBY KOREA, where we meet weekly and discuss ways we can help with the problem of global warming; next week, we are planning to set up a fundraising campaign to gather funds and signatures from people walking by in the street to help with our project to try and put an end to global warming.

Another major thing I have done and currently doing to try to help the environment is being a part of a Youtube channel called ¡°BugHouse365.¡± In this Youtube channel, with the help of an edible insect food cafe in Korea, we introduce food recipes containing edible insects in order to encourage people to help decrease the amount of meat production, as it is extremely harmful for the environment. Using these recipes, we create entertaining (hopefully) tutorials on how to create the food recipes.

The environment is not in a good condition right now, and it isn¡¯t getting any better; therefore, I believe as human beings living on this planet, it is our responsibility to educate the younger generations on these environmental problems, and to try our best to help the environment as much as we can, by joining groups and clubs like I have, or even doing the little things like saying no and switching to paper straws.
