[Free report]The influence of crayfish processing on mangrove ecosystem degradation.

by Anthony Duxell Malle | 11-08-2020 07:40

Due to the high demand for seafood such as crayfish in the world market as well as the ready market for the processed crayfish. This has intend cause a rapid loss of the mangrove ecosystem around the coastal areas most especially in my home town Limbe which is located in the SouthWest region of Cameroon. The mangrove plant is used by the local people as a source of energy for the processing of their crayfish, more that, it's also believe that the mangrove plant when used to smoke the crayfish, it gives the crayfish good taste . As a result, the local population depends solely on the mangrove plant as a source of energy for their crayfish processing. This thereby, influence the degradation of mangrove ecosystem.
