Ecological modelling in environment and biodiversity conservation

Ecological modelling is a mathematical description for the evaluation of species in a particular community for a particular species. For the protection and conservation of species in a particular time interval ecological modelling is effective.

Can we relate ecological modelling to today¡¯s youth work on conservation of species?

Yes, of course as ecological modelling is proved more effective in estimating species population and their abundance.

As starting with lower amount of population at risk in ecosystem it is proved beneficial to estimate the future population and estimate the project period and also the efficiency and durability of project.

Lets take an example of tigers of Chitwan national park. We have set an goal to double the tigers number by 2022 but the tigers population has already been doubled in 2018.

The doubling population of tiger has a huge impact of ecological modelling. The population to be doubled by 2022 was estimated but it has reached in 2018 which is almost closer to the 2022.

The main reason for its early reach of its double value has been due to the difficulty in examining the puberty of some of the young tigers and most probably they have almost crosses juvenile phase during surveys.

We can relate many more examples for the conservation of animals biodiversity and their conservation in natural ecosystem.
