[Free Report] Volunteering opportunity – Autism Awareness Walk in Dubai

Hello Friends! During the current pandemic situation where we are witness to global Lock-downs, restricted movements, social distancing etc. I retrospect and remember the active days where we used to have various events and activities. I am sure that we will overcome this situation soon and normal activities will resume. During those days I used to be very actively involved in many such activities.

Today, I remember one such event that took place in those ¡®active¡¯ days. It was Global Autism Awareness Festival and Walk organised in the Zabeel Park Dubai.

Since, I was actively and socially involved in all such events and activities I got the opportunity to do volunteering activities in this event also.
I arrived early in the morning before the event start time & helped in the registration process. There was a big crowd of people of all ages, kids, families and so on. It was a challenging task & me and my team was helpful in sharing information And facilitating the registration process. Subsequently, my duty was transferred at the entry gate, in order to regulate the guest entries. We were supposed to keep the entry smooth & fast.

The event - which was organised by the Child Early Intervention Medical Centre (CEIMC) in Healthcare City, Dubai - was held to celebrate and commemorate the World Autism Awareness day, with similar walks being held across the globe.  The Global Autism Awareness Festival and Walk featured a wide variety of activities in addition to the three-kilometre walk, including a performance by the Dubai Police band, music, arts and crafts activities, raffle draws and children's games.

The event's organisers expressed hope that the event will help raise awareness of autism spectral disorders and encourage the community to engage with children and adults on the spectrum to help them integrate fully into society.

I cherish the wonderful moments shared and am satisfied with my volunteering activities performed.

The pictures are shared. Thanks for reading.
