Hope you are well and fighting well with global pandemic!

It's me Dibya Bhatta from Nepal.I came to Korea in February 2020 as a research intern in international environment research institute which is part of gwangju institute of science and technology!I was selected as intern in lab of Earth science and Environmental engineering!The title of my research was associated with climate change and Climate smart village model that help in adaptation and mitigation of climate change induced disasters!The internship officially ended in end of July 2020.Many of my friends can't go back home on time because of Corona virus pandemic and Lock down prevalent in their countries.Our stay in dorm has been extended for month of August.

This internship was a life changing opportunity to explore Korea,Try different Korean cuisines and be familiar with friendly Korean peoples.The experience was not lessened by corona because of the regulations and management of Korean Government.I always appreciate the work of Korean Government in fighting Corona virus.🙏

We also visited the UNESCO world heritage site Jeju island during our stay.It was such a nice experience. We also knew how project and lab here in Korea functions and became familiar with them.we also attended lectures masters degree in Korea and had lots of presentation and seminar which made us busy and active.

The way advisors guide us during the research is also so informative and precious.Professor here are so good people with kind hearts and huge pool of knowledge to share with us!

These 6 months gave me alot of new friends from all over the world and I got to experience diverse culture and talks.

There were fun days .

There were depressed days.

There were happy days.

But these all prepared us to be ready for new adventures.
