[September Free Report] Brazil and its dangers

by Jayden Kim | 01-10-2023 06:37

Brazil has been enduring a huge environmental issue for a while: deforestation. The Amazon forest in South America is the most prize forest for Brazil. With it's culture, nature, cultivation, history all coming from the forest, deforestation has become a truly saddening event.

Ironic to its value, the amazon forest has been most affected by its habitants: people. Brazil is still very dependent on fossil fuels such as wood, and not only that, expansion is a very huge issue. As Brazil is a growing country that is exponentially increasing its economy and population, land capacity is a daunting issue. With that said, deforestation has been at their highest environmental hazards currently.

What is necessary for Brazil right now is development. They need development of technology, resources, and money in order to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels and obtain more sustainable energy practices like solar, wind, hydrogen, etc. Furthermore, since deforestation is a huge problem, Brazil have to now think about building vertically, not horizontally. Yes, Brazil is still technically a 3rd world country, so obtaining these resources can be difficult and pricy. That is why we need global communication and trade. Treaties, agreements with other countries to help Brazil fight the environmental issue is no doubt a huge part of their solution to solving the Amazon forest issue.

We are all humans. We live on one Earth. We need to work together so that we can preserve the Earth.
