This report addresses energy security issues and the strategies that the Peruvian government plans to implement in order to guarantee sustainable development that at the same time meets economic growth forecasts, thus achieving a balance between economic development and the environment. The report focuses on the primary energy market (fossil fuels), the electrical system, natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons. This document aims to be a beginning of the conceptual debate on vision in the sector that we allows us to review the measures adopted and optimize them so as not to find ourselves again faced with undesirable situations as have happened in Peru and other neighboring economies, especially in the supply of energy inputs.
