Yarsagumba and its medicinal value

Yarsagumba
Yarsagumba is the most valuable wild herbs in world. At base it is larva of the Thitarodes ghost moth (Himalayan Bat moth). The moth larva is invaded by a sac fungus. The fungus kills and mummifies the insect and grow in its body. It only occurs above 33oom; and most common about 4600m up.
It is highly prized medicinal herb of Nepal. It is collected through outalpine grasslands of the Himalayans of Nepal. People starts collecting yarshagumba in summer season. 
Uses 
It is mostly used as tonic. Its main application is for treatment of exhaustion, respiration and pulmonary diseases, renal, liver and cardio vascular diseases, back pain and sexual problem disease. It is used as an aphrodisiac by male consumer in China. It is also recommended as a general tonic for bosting the immune system and virility, and is prescribed usually in conjunction with other medicines for kidney, lungs and heart problems as well as for hepatitis B. It also helps in improving eye. It is assumed that further researching on yarshagumba can be solution of many disease like tumor, cancer and viral disease.
